BACKGROUND

+ ARTISTIC PHILOSOPHY

My name is Fabiano Nogarolli — I’m a tattoo artist specializing in black and gray realism, with a passion rooted in a lifetime of artistic exploration. From the first sketches I made as a kid to the walls I painted with graffiti and the illustrations I brought to life with charcoal and ink, art has always been my way of understanding the world. Tattooing became the natural evolution of that journey.

Over the years, my work has been recognized with over 20 awards at tattoo conventions nationwide. But more than accolades, what drives me is the chance to create something deeply personal and enduring — art that lives on skin and tells a story with authenticity and elegance.

If my style speaks to you, I’d be honored to walk you through my process and show you how we can bring your idea to life with authenticity, precision, and intention.

WHO I WORK WITH & WHY

I work with clients who value originality, quality, and trust in the creative process. If you’re looking for art — crafted with purpose and refined through experience — then we’re likely a good match.

To create the best results, I need artistic freedom — all built around the theme we define together. Your idea sets the direction; the design is my interpretation.

I never copy tattoos or use other artists' work. I handpick all references to ensure visual quality and long-term impact. If something won’t translate well on skin, I’ll tell you. And if a project doesn’t align with my standards, I won’t move forward.

I take on projects with strong concepts and clients who value trust and creative freedom. That’s when the best work happens.

Each tattoo is designed to be timeless, striking, and artfully tailored to you.

If that resonates, let’s connect.

CREATIVE PROCESS

Before the first session, there’s structure.

That’s where the real work begins.

1. CONSULTATION

My consultation is the first and most important step in creating your tattoo — it’s where we align on the vision and build the foundation for something original and meaningful. Once your deposit is secured, we’ll schedule a day to dive into your ideas. You’ll bring any thoughts, references, or inspiration — whether it’s a theme, a story, or just a feeling you want the tattoo to express.

I’ll ask questions to better understand your vision and make sure we’re on the same page. From there, I’ll take everything we discuss and use it to create a custom design in my style — one that captures the heart of your idea, works technically on skin, and is built to last. You can expect honest feedback throughout the process, and if something doesn’t work visually or structurally, I’ll always suggest a better direction.

To prepare, come in with a clear vision or an open mind, and trust that I’ll guide the concept into something unique, powerful, and truly one of a kind.

2. TATTOO DESIGN & ARTWORK

After our consultation, once the idea is clear, I begin designing your tattoo with full focus and intention. This isn’t a quick sketch or something pulled from a catalog — it’s a custom piece of art, built from the ground up to fit your story, your body, and your vision.

I use everything we discussed — the mood, the meaning, the structure — and begin shaping a design that will not only look powerful when it’s fresh, but will also heal and age gracefully. Every line, every shadow is thought through with care. I also design with your anatomy in mind — using the natural shape, movement, and flow of your body to create something that feels like it belongs there.

Some clients feel unsure about not seeing the design until the day of their appointment — and I get it. But here’s why that works: when I’m trusted to create without micromanagement, I can focus on what truly matters — strong composition, clean flow, and originality. You’re not getting a pre-made design or a copy of someone else’s tattoo. You’re getting something made just for you. And if we need to fine-tune anything before we start tattooing, we’ll do it together.

At the end of the day, my goal is simple: to give you a tattoo that not only meets your expectations — but rises to the level of what you truly deserve. Art that reflects who you are, works in harmony with your body, elevates your style, and makes you stand out without saying a word.

3. TATTOO SESSION

The tattoo session is where everything comes to life — not just on your skin, but in real time, with full focus and care.

We start by reviewing the final design together. If any tweaks are needed, we’ll make them right then. Once the stencil’s placed, I make sure the flow complements your body’s natural structure — every line working in harmony.

My sessions last around 8 hours, including prep. They’re structured, calm, and immersive. I take short breaks to stay sharp — not to rush, but to maintain consistency and precision.

As I work, I build smooth transitions, tone by tone — always focused on both how it looks and how it heals. Every stroke is applied at the right depth for longevity, not just effect.

The goal: a piece that reflects your vision and elevates your presence — with craftsmanship you can feel and results that stand the test of time.

The Work & The Worth

I don’t charge for tattoos like most people do. I don’t price by the hour or by the inch — because what I do isn’t measured that way. My work is about depth, detail, and longevity. It’s not rushed. It’s not mass-produced. It’s built to last.

Each session is $2,500, and it includes everything:

Custom design
• 1-on-1 consultation
• Studio day (8 hrs)
• Prep, breaks, and aftercare guidance

I charge per session so I can create without compromise. That means no shortcuts, no distractions — just clear focus on building something bold, clean, and built to hold up for life.

The number of sessions depends on the complexity, size, and design — which we’ll align on during the consultation.

This isn’t just a tattoo — it’s an investment in your body, your identity, and your personal style. My goal is to give you something that not only tells your story, but elevates your entire presence — a piece of art that feels powerful, refined, and truly yours.

Full Back/Torso

Full back pieces are some of the most powerful and challenging tattoos to create — and also some of the most rewarding. They require vision, planning, and a lot of time and trust to execute properly.

Because of the complexity and the size, I always begin by focusing on the linework. This first session is dedicated entirely to mapping out the entire design with clean, precise lines. Getting the stencil placed correctly on the back is a technical challenge in itself, and doing all the linework at once allows me to lock in the composition and flow before any shading begins.

This mapping session typically takes a full day, and after that, I’ll let the skin heal for about 6 to 10 days, depending on how your body responds. Once the linework is settled and the skin has recovered, we begin building the piece with shading and depth, layer by layer. This approach helps me stay consistent and ensures the final result is clean, structured, and powerful from every angle.

Back pieces are major works of art — and I treat them with the time, precision, and patience they deserve.

Full Leg Sleeve

Full leg sleeves are bold, dynamic pieces that require thoughtful planning and serious commitment. The leg has a lot of surface area, muscle movement, and directional flow — so designing a sleeve that works from every angle takes precision and vision.

Just like with arm sleeves, I usually build leg sleeves in phases, based on the flow of the design. We can start with

the lower leg (shin to calf), thigh area, or even the outer leg first, depending on what fits best. Every leg — and every concept — is different, so I adapt the process to make sure the final piece feels unified and powerful.

Sometimes I map out the full design up front, but in most cases, we work section by section, always making sure that each new element connects naturally with the previous one. Whether it’s realism, portraits, statues, or architectural elements, I’m constantly thinking about how the tattoo moves with the body and how light and contrast will guide the eye.

Leg sleeves usually require several long sessions, and I approach each one with the same focus and intent — making sure every detail is solid, well-placed, and built to
last.

Chest

Chest tattoos are powerful centerpieces — bold, expressive, and often deeply personal. Because of the placement and the visibility, it’s important that the design flows naturally with the shape of your chest and collarbones, while still making a strong statement.

For full chest pieces, I usually start with the linework to map out the design. Stenciling the chest — especially across both sides — can be complex due to symmetry and body movement, so getting the structure locked in first ensures everything sits right and heals well before we begin shading.

However, if the design is focused on just one side of the chest, I can often go straight into the full shading and detail without needing a separate linework session. It really depends on the complexity of the piece and how it flows with the surrounding areas like the shoulder, sternum, or upper arm.

As always, the process is tailored to the design and your body. Whether it’s a full symmetrical layout or a powerful one-sided composition, I’ll make sure it’s built to look intentional, balanced, and timeless.

SIngle Pieces/Custom Size

Not every tattoo has to start as a full sleeve or large-scale project — some of the most meaningful pieces begin with a single, well-executed design. Whether it’s a portrait, statue, or concept-driven piece, single tattoos are an opportunity to create something impactful on their own — or as the first step toward a larger composition in the future.

These pieces are carefully planned with your anatomy and long-term vision in mind. Even if you’re starting small, I keep in mind how it could later connect to additional work — so the flow feels intentional if you decide to build into a full sleeve or body composition over time.

Because of the level of detail and realism I work with, even a “single” tattoo can take more than one day to complete. Some pieces involve multiple layers of shading and texture to achieve the depth and contrast needed for it to truly stand out and last over time.

Whether this is your only tattoo or the beginning of something bigger, I treat each piece with the same precision, care, and artistic vision — making sure it feels complete, powerful, and worthy of your trust.
